This is the Google Doodle holiday which replaced the Google logo today on its website. In fact, the Google doodle holiday will be in place until the evening of December 25, yes, on Christmas Day. Although less flashy in comparison to Google doodle balls bouncing on the eve of the release instant Google, the Google doodle current holiday has taken considerable time to achieve.
The Google doodle vacation consists of 17 framed artwork depicting scenes from around the world – a bit like a collection of portraits on the wall of an art lover. If you move your mouse over one of the mosaics, they maximize to reveal the full picture and clicking on them takes you to the search page of Google landing to explain the importance of the scene.
Chief Google Doodler, Michael Lopez and his team of five artists took a total of 250 hours covering more than five months to create the Google Doodle holiday. The discussions at the Google Doodle holiday began in July, according to the Wall Street Journal.
