The last missing part to the Windows Phone 7 launch devices is the Dell Venue Pro, the nifty bottom-sliding WP7 phone that rocks a huge 4.1″ display, 5MP camera and 8GB of memory and a spacious hardware keyboard below the screen. However, December 14th should be the date that marks the wide availability of the device, if a brief shot of the device on Dell’s website holds to be true.
As we reported, some Microsoft stores saw a very limited launch of the Dell Venue Pro earlier this month, and a much wider launch is expected. That is why a web page put up by Dell earlier today generated plenty of interest before it was taken down.
Venue Pro is showing on Dell’s website with a ship date of 12/14 and a price of $149 with a new two year contract, or $499 if you want to buy outright. If you do buy it outright, it’ll still work on T-Mobile 3G, but not AT&T 3G.
It’s expected that the Model will have a wider launch on the Specified date.
