On Tuesday, Electronic Arts released a demo for the horror title Dead Space 2. After taking a tour of the church and other areas in the city called Sprawl, there is certainly enough content to sensationalism and fear players. The story is again Isaac Clarke, an engineer fresh from a harrowing visit to an abandoned mining ship in Dead Space from 2008. Clarke is now Sprawl attempt to stop an outbreak of mysterious creatures Necromorphs.
Apart from the environments, the demo only features a few new, but very interesting options for players. Clarke uses a Javelin Gun, a one-shot, one-kill weapon that pierces enemies when hit. One of the bright sides of the Church of Unitology the long corridors, and watching Necromorphs fly across the room never grew dull. Clarke also has another signature weapons like the Plasma Cutter and Pulse Rifle.
The demo also zero-gravity gameplay, as Clarke was floating in space and avoided fan blades to a platform within reach Sprawl. Together with a range of mining tools double as weapons, Clarke keeps his telekinesis and stasis (slows enemies and objects) skills, which players use a simple puzzle section at the beginning of the demo.
Dead Space for veterans, the successor to the demo delivers many of the elements that made its predecessor so scary. The sound is cool, as the slightest creaks and groans add much excitement. Enemies seem to pop up out of nowhere, those players should stick to the edge. Dead Space 2 and continues to hammer the home of the philosophy of “strategic dismemberment,” where players must pick wisely waived Necromorphs to survive.
