Call Of Duty: Black Ops Still Tops UK Gaming Chart

cod blackops cheat

This week’s UK charts have been released, and Call of Duty: Blacks Ops (which reportedly has sold 8.4 million units already in US alone) has managed to retain its position at the top of the UK all formats gaming chart despite mounting pressure from FIFA 11 and World of Warcraft: Cataclysm.

Dislodged for just one week by the arrival of the long overdue Gran Turismo 5, Black Ops has become a regular fixture atop the UKIE All Format Top 40 this week followed by the ever-present FIFA 11 in second and the week’s highest new entry World of Warcraft: Cataclysm rounding out the podium positions. Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood along with GT 5 and Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit saw a one place dip in their ranking, the only gainer was Donkey Kong Contry Returns which jumps four places to rest on eight spot.

The PC exclusive World of Warcraft: Cataclysm marks the first occasion that an expansion for the hugely successful role-playing game has been launched in solid state and digital download forms simultaneously. Focus now shifts to which gaming release will top next week’s UKIE charts and ultimately take the title of Christmas Number One 2010.

Just Dance dropped to sixth and Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit retained seventh. Donkey Kong Country Returns rose from 13th to eighth, and Professor Layton and the Lost Future swapped placed with Wii Fit Plus to round off the top 10.

Here is the complete top ten list:

1. CoD: Black Ops (Activision)
2. FIFA 11 (EA)
3. World of Warcraft: Cataclysm (Activision)
4. Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood (Ubisoft)
5. Gran Turismo 5 (Sony)
6. Just Dance 2 (Ubisoft)
7. Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit (EA)
8. Donkey Kong Country Returns (Nintendo)
9. Professor Layton & the Lost Future (Nintendo)
10. Wii Fit Plus (Nintendo)
