Experience the covert operations of the Cold War like never before with Call of Duty: Black Ops, the latest in the runaway hit gaming series, Call of Duty. With the Mad Catz’ exclusive line of Call of Duty: Black Ops gaming accessories, you can stealthily defeat the enemy in this action packed first person shooter.
PrecisionAIM got its name from the unique build of the controller. The shape is not all that different from the standard Xbox 360 gamepad, but it likewise doesn’t feel the same. At first, the differences are so moot, it just feels odd. Not good, not bad, just odd. The most notable feature of the controller is the inclusion of rear “combat buttons,” which, among other things, can be used to slow down the response from the analog stick, allowing more precise aiming, especially when sniping. The controller also has “the best trigger buttons ever,” or so said Alex from Mad Catz.
Immersive Backlighting bathes the Analog ThumbSticks in a red glow, enhancing in-game atmosphere while Dual Vibration Feedback allows the gamer to experience every shot and explosion. Available in dual ‘Stealth’ or ‘Tiger’ designs and complete with fully braided connection cable providing a robust and latency free connection with the console.
The controller comes plastic packaging, containing a Mad Catz wireless receiver, a USB cable and the controller. I was disappointed to see that there was no box with the controller, because last year’s edition came in a bonus combat case. There is also a simple instruction manual in the box, but it really isn’t needed, as set up is very easy. Simply plug in the dongle, switch on the controller at the bottom, and start using it.
