The AP reported that many retailers are interested in gift cards because that allows buyers to purchase something they really want and lowers the need for returns. Some online retailers that we suggest visiting are BestBuy.com, Amazon.con, Sears.com, and Gamestop.com.

And while seasonal items such as coats, hats and snow shovels are your best bet for a great discount, more evergreen, electronic items, like video game systems, are less likely to be on sale.
