If you want a Windows Phone this holiday season, price will be no object. The phones will available for cheap from Amazon and AT&T. customers can enter an AT&T store, buy a Windows Phone 7 handset, and walk out with another one, for free, both on two-year contracts.
AT&T is running a buy one get one free offers on Windows Phone 7 handsets for Black Friday. Amazon has that deal beat, offering Windows Phone handsets for $50 apiece.
That knocks the price to about $100 a pop, plus the free entertainment pack offered with AT&T’s WP7 handsets, which includes the 3D puzzle game ilomilo, and 30-day Zune pass for free music and TV shows.
however, we have the Samsung Focus, HTC Surround and LG Quantum at $25 profit for you at Wal-Mart, if you take advantage of their $100 gift card offer, and enter the LetsTalk coupon 25RAFPCVER1 on checkout. If you sniff at gift cards, then Amazon has all three phones for $49.99, so we really don’t see much value in AT&T’s proposition, especially if you have to get up and go to the store, but props for the effort anyway.
