Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia has released a new version of its desktop connectivity application, the Nokia Ovi Suite. The application was updated to version 3.0, but is only a beta version at the moment (release 220.127.116.11). The app was released at Nokia Beta Labs where, apparently, it was in alpha testing for the past month or so, and is now available for download for all of those interested in it.
“The team behind the Ovi Suite has been working hard to improve the quality of Nokia Ovi Suite, for example stability, syncing and the experience with downloading maps and software is now really close to graduate to a commercial product”.
Among the novelties that Nokia Ovi Suite 3.0 comes with, we can count the reduction of steps required for taking Nokia Ovi Suite in use. Those of you, who have already installed Nokia Ovi Suite, will be automatically informed about new software version and you will be able download and install updated Beta release easily. Otherwise you’ll need to go to Nokia Beta Labs, log in and then you’ll get the download link.
With Nokia Ovi Suite 3.0 you can easily shuttle multiple content types between your device and computer; register for Ovi services and upload photos or download maps for free; and update your Nokia device with the latest software.
Of course, other enhancements were brought to Nokia Ovi Suite 3.0 too, some of which are detailed in the video embedded at the bottom of this article.
Download Nokia Ovi Suite 3.0 Beta and install it on your computer.
