Details about the Google Nexus S are popping up one by one and this information blitz hints that we’re going to see this much-anticipated handset sooner rather than later. this time with an arsenal of new photos. These photos confirm Android 2.3 Gingerbread, Samsung as the manufacturer and there are some new details on the specs.
The leaked specs read:
- Arm v7 CPU – Could be Dual Core
- OpenGL ES Supported
- 512 or 328MB RAM (Not 100% known)
- 1GB or 2GB internal memory (Not 100% known)
- 480×800 Screen Resolution
- 4″ Screen Size
- Super AMOLED 2 – Possibly
- 720p HD Video
The photos (as shaky as they are) show the Android version as 2.3. There’s a Samsung logo on the back and the handset is pretty similar to the Galaxy S. And the device is curved though the source doesn’t say a word about the display – is the curve a good thing or a bad thing?
Not only this news points that the Google Nexus S will run Android 2.3 Gingerbread (see the images) rather than Honeycomb (3.0), but also confirms that it may have Super AMOLED 2 screen and a dual-core processor. This particular Nexus S is running on the T-Mobile network (check out the screenshots).We yet hope that the Rubin will the handset on December 6.
