Animus Project – First “Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood” DLC Coming Dec. 14

Assassins Creed Brotherhood

Ubisoft has announced that AC: Brotherhood will be getting the ’Animus Project Update 1.0′.  This will feature the new game mode ‘Advanced Alliance’ and the ‘Mont Saint-Michel’ map for Brotherhood’s multiplayer. The DLC will also include a brand new game mode and map for the innovative, backstabbing-filled multiplayer.

Included in APU1 is a “brand-new” game mode called Advanced Alliance; it’s basically Alliance Mode, but harder. If that wasn’t enough to sharpen your blade to, how does a new map sound? Mont Saint-Michel isn’t just a fancy French name, it’s also the name of the new map, “located on a rocky tidal island of Normandy in France.” Ubi promises an environment full of “narrow streets, high-perched bell tower and multi-leveled architecture.”

“We are very thrilled to be able to offer the first Multiplayer DLC for ‘Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood’ for absolutely free,” Ubisoft Montreal executive producer Sebastien Puel said in a press release. “We wanted to say thank you to our fans for making Brotherhood such a huge success its opening week. We are very proud of the unique and innovative Multiplayer mode it offers, and hope the fans enjoy the new content.”
