Nokia announces great clarification and simplicity in it’s developer offering, it’s going to empower the development community to create application to reach users across both the Symbian and MeeGo platforms. The decision focuses on Qt as the sole application development framework will ensure compatibility with future evolution of Symbian as well as forthcoming MeegGo .And Nokia has announced the intention to support HTML 5 for development of web based contents and applications for both symbian and MeeGo platforms.
Nokia’s introduction to the Qt framework enables the more rapid creation of rich user interface and the eye catching applications. In addition,Qt’s in-built support for HTML 5 complements Nokia’s Intention to support the new and great flexible HTML 5 in web browsers.
As of this simplified approach for their planned and future improvements in Symbian with Qt framework, Nokia ensures the Compatibility with the existing Symbian^3 platform release. This way Nokia keep their commitment to the present users of their product. This means that the company’s continued commitment to develop the Symbian platform will benefit not only future users of Symbian-based products, but will result in updates and upgrades for existing Symbian^3 users.
Nokia claims that these new strategic changes in technology will accelerate their ability to offer the strongest possibilities for both Developers and Consumers the way they expect.
