GoldenEye 007, will be a Wii remake to the classic Nintendo 64 first person shooter. It was based on the James Bond movie by the same name. Activision claims that this remake is going to be the year’s biggest seller on the Wii. Those are some pretty big claims for any company to make.

“Our expectations are that GoldenEye 007 will be one of the best-selling games for the year on the Wii,” David Tyler, general manager for the firm’s Licensed Business Unit told MCV.
GoldenEye 007 is set for a November 2 release on the Wii. However, one of the biggest games that GoldenEye will have to over come is another game that is made by Activision. That’s right, in the same month, Activision will also be releasing their next game in their very popular Call of Duty franchise. The Wii version of Call of Duty: Black Ops comes out the same month as GoldenEye. They are both first person shooters and will likely appeal to the same crowd.
