Japanese Company Mouse Computer plans to launch a 10 inch tablet with an NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor and Google Android 2.2 Froyo later this month.
Named the LuvPad AD100, the tablet is one more in the 10 inch category. But perhaps the best thing about the LuvPad is that it comes with Android 2.2 right from day one making the LuvPad the first tablet in Japan to do so. And that’s not all for the LuvPad also comes with the powerful and the latest Nvidia Tegra 250 Chipset which is known for its ability to support advanced media playback without any fuss. Paired to the state-of-the-art processor is 512 MB of RAM while onboard storage amounts to 8 GB. And if you still need more, there is the microSD card slot that you can fall back upon to create more space.
It has HDMi output, 802.11b/g WiFi, an accelerometer, microSD card, and support for HD video playback. The LuvPad will feature Android 2.2 OS and feature a few custom Japanese-centered applications pre-installed. The tablet will begin shipping according to Mouse Computing at the end of September 2010 to stores where it will sell for 39,800 yen or about $474USD.
