Earlier today Google launched their latest product called Google Instant which is basically the web giant predicting your search as you type.

For instance when someone types the letter C the terms craigslist, CNN etc. automatically pop up in order that help to find the user what he is searching, without typing the whole thing and that saves time. Many people on the internet are complaining that the newly launched tool is out of service this evening.

According to Google’s VP of Search Products and User Experience, Marissa Mayer, Google Instant is the ‘fundamental shift in search’ and something that Google has never done before. Google Instant is a new search enhancement that shows results as you type thus pushing the limits of technology and infrastructure to helps users get better search results much faster. but the feature works on select browsers.

While in many pats of the world, like India, California the tool is perfectly working. Google, till now has given no official statement regarding the issue. Perhaps they are looking for improved methods that will help this newly launched tool to perform better.

Instant Search Google has started to roll out on Google domains in UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, US, and Russia. It is available to those who use the following browsers; Chrome v5/6, Firefox v3, Safari v5for Mac and IE v8. Users on domains other than Google.com can access Google Instant only if they are signed into a Google Account. The search giant also cleared that Google Instant does not impact the ranking of search results.

Google Instant Search saves 2-5 seconds of your time per search by predicting your search and showing results before you finish typing. Predictions help guide your search even when you do not know what you are looking for. Until now you had to type a full search term but with Google Instant you start typing and search results appear right before you.
