The Google didn’t change the Google Logo(GOogle Doodle) today but below the logo is a red, white and blue ribbon that looks like an American flag and when you mouse over it you get a tooltip that says “September 11, 2001.”
That seems appropriate because of the nature of the tragic day. It wouldn’t be proper to make a logo because today is not a day of celebration, but a day of sorrow. And none of us know that more than the families of the almost 3,000 people that lost their lives that day.
Three of the top 20 Google search trends right now are Sept. 11th related. Two are searching for quotes and one for photos. Let’s hope that by remembering this day we will never have to face another day like it.
