Pinnacle Internet Viewer is real-time grade reporting software created by Excelsior Software. It allows a parent to view the grades, missing assignments, discipline reports and attendance of their child. Keep in mind that although we hope to be accurate at all times, this is merely meant to be a tool for communication and not an absolute “etched in stone” grade or attendance report, things change on a daily basis.
It can be used to request grade reports and semester reports. It is widely used in schools for students to check their school progress and any assignments they missed.
If you have any questions regarding grades or attendance, please call the teacher FIRST! He/she is the first contact regarding what is in the gradebook. If you called in to excuse an absence, this may not show up on the Pinnacle Viewer for up to 3 days beyond the absence. Please be patient and check back before becoming alarmed.
To access the information, you will need: The Student ID is also known as the student number (this number is printed on the student’s schedule and starts with 06) This is not the student’s social security number – Please check your student’s schedule to find out the correct Student ID number.
The Pin Code is the student’s date of birth – this will be typed as year, month, day (four digits for year two digits for month two digits for day – no spaces, slashes, dashes, or commas – YYYYMMDD) – for example, if the student’s birthday is March 5, 1982, it would be typed in as 19820305.
Some “Students” codes are considered “no” – FT (field trip) and SO (Signed Out). Please do not worry, these codes – Pinnacle system only for all the lack of attendance codes. Be sure that the student did not actually “no” if you can not see without a good reason (AU) or justify (A) There is no code number with the date and time of day.
Note that the “Quarter-class has no exams, which are given at the end of labeling. The county calculates the final grades for the semester, and this score is reported on the report card, student.
