Nikon Preparing to Replace Powerfull Nikon P6000 with New Nikon Coolpix P7000

It is no secret that the Nikon P6000(Check out new prices and buy it from Amazon) is one of the best in the world of compact cameras. Nevertheless, Nikon understands that this model will soon become obsolete, since it was released a few years ago. According to some participants of the forum Nikon Rumors, the famous Japanese company has already prepared a replacement for this camera. Her name – P7000.

According to preliminary data, Nikon P7000 has the following specifications: 1 / 1, 7 “image sensor with a maximum resolution of 10 megapixels, lens 28-200mm f/2.8-5.6. Thus, P7000 has an improved and more flexible optics than the Canon G11, and these models will compete with each other in the compact camera hi-end.

Recall that the P7000 specifications are preliminary and have not yet received confirmation from Nikon.

    uhh its only the best if you compare it to ordinary compacts point and shoots with 1/2.3″ sensor or smaller. if you compare P6000 with ANY other large sensor compact you will realize it is no secret that the P6000 is one of the WORST large sensor compacts compared to offerings from panasonic, samsung and canon
