MSI has presented a new notebook series for the US, more specifically the MSI FX610 which sports an unusual processor: an AMD Phenom II. The FX610 will feature the same Jet Black case color as the FX600 as well as ECO Engine, GPU Boost and Cinema Pro technologies.
The MSI FX610 comes with a AMD Phenom II processor, DDR3 memory, a ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470 1GB discrete graphics card, a 5-in-1 card reader, LAN, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, a HD webcam, two ‘theater class’ speakers, and a 6-cell battery.
There are a few options for the hard-drive – 500GB, 640GB and 750GB – and the screen size is set at 15.6-inches which provides a resolution of 1366×768 pixels.
The integrated webcam can record 720p video at 30FPS. The systems even weigh the same 5.3lbs.
MSI has not yet revealed pricing or ship dates for the FX610 but usually does so closer to a local launch. Check out new prices and buy it from Amazon.
