Kanye West and Jay-Z are set to thrill fans by releasing a joint album. The track isn’t out fully yet but its previews are available at YouTube and other sites as well. By the sound of it the track seems to be very eccentric because the beat is very innovative and hasn’t been quite heard before.
He’ll be dropping a new track every Friday until Christmas with his “G.O.O.D. Friday” campaign. On Friday (August 27), West posted “Monster” on his KanyeUniversecity.com blog, an eclectic all-star collaboration featuring contributions from Jay-Z, Rick Ross and Nicki Minaj.
Monster, thus far has received rave reviews from fans of West. The ability for him to team up with the stars he does, and produce a single that can blow your mind, vocally speaking, has kept West on top of the music industry, despite his recent shortcomings in the media. It will certainly be interesting to see what the next few months bring from the Kanye West machine.
Although the track surfaced the same day Minaj tweeted about supposedly marrying Drake, the Young Money Barbie shows no signs of possibly being mellowed by a relationship, delivering a collection of punch lines buoyed by her trademark energy. “Pull up in a monster/ Automobile gangsta/ With a bad bitch that came from Sri Lanka/ Yeah, I’m in that Tonka/ Color of Willie Wonka/ You can be the king but watch the queen conquer,” Minaj rhymes.
Rappers nowadays should follow in the footsteps of Kanye West and make more tracks that are free and offer something different. This is exactly what Will Smith said in one of his songs in which he instructed rappers to get out of the same uniform and do their own thing that’s different and show variety.
