It’s not unusual to see something out of the ordinary when looking around your area on Google Street View. However, residents of Middle Road, Worcester, got something else entirely when they were browsing Google Street View.
The brown-haired girl, who was wearing a pink and brown dress, was apparently dead with her legs lying across the curb and onto the road. But the “body” was in fact a nine-year-old girl playing a prank with her friend. The Google Street View camera took the snap last summer.
The picture above appears to be a young girl, lying face down in the street with one sandal in the gutter and one by her foot. Residents immediately assumed the worst, jumping to the conclusion that the girl had been killed, and phoned Google.
Apparently, the girl, Azura Beebeejaun fell over in the street, as 10-year-olds often do, and decided to pretend that she had left for another life, just to tease a friend. At that moment, unbeknownst to her, a Google Street View car was playing very much alive and captured her first foray towards Shakespearian stardom.
However, Mrs. Beebeejuan said she understood how people could have thought the picture of her daughter was a dead body.
