AT&T has now realized the importance of Android phones in its inventory, so we are seeing more and more Android phones coming to the network.
Motorola MB520 (Motorola Kobe ATT) is the next android handset coming from Motorola . Motorola Kobe comes with AT&T but this is still under covers. Motorola MB520 got “Kobe ATT” designation by Wi-Fi Alliance and UPnP forums.
Motorola MB520 is coming with new features. According to the sources Motorola Kobe ATT will run on Android OS and a standard touchscreen candybar, Swype, DLNA as Motorola includes in all Android sets. And one more interesting feature “Vling” a cool Voice control feature coming in this device for Android 2.1 users.
It’s definitely not a Motorola flagship phone but it’s certainly proves that Motorola is definitely ready to bring hot Android device to AT&T too. And that’s probably bound to happen as soon as Verizon starts selling the iPhone as I assume that both Motorola and AT&T will want to counter such a device. Until that happens though, I think that neither Motorola nor AT&T would be interested in getting together to sell a GSM Motorola Milestone 2 or Motorola Milestone X.
Not a slouch but not a top performer either, the Motorola Kobe scored a 1036 on Quadrant which places it right below the DROID X and right above the Galaxy S. The MB520 will also include Swype and DLNA, both of which are becoming standard inclusions on Motorola’s Android handsets.
Besides rumors and speculations, we don’t have actual arrival dates and pricing details for this Motorola Kobe device, but we’re definitely going to keep you posted once we find out more about it.
