Red Bull Flugtag Minneapolis – This year’s Flugtag is set for Gibson’s hometown of St. Paul. Hangars will open on the Mississippi River at 11am Saturday July 24th. The hangars are already open since 11 am. In this event, participants need to design, build and pilot a flying machine. Once it is built they need to take off from a 30 ft high deck and hope the machine works!

The first Red Bull Flugtag was celebrated almost 10 years ago, in 1991, and each year the competition gets better. The event is celebrated in Harriet Island at Twin Cities today, you have time to reach the last flight at 3:30 pm if you are nearby!
