KDDI of Japan has just unveiled a new mobile phone with the Light Pool. This is another lifestyle cell phone which carries a pretty catch outer design as well as some reasonable features.
Featuring designs distinct from smartphones and existing handsets, it is targeted at consumers in their 20s and 30s, and will sell for between 40,000 yen and 45,000 yen. Battery chargers and other accessories that match the phone’s unique designs will also be available.
Going through the specs and feature set, however, you’ll find that this phone isn’t exactly anything to write home about. The Light Pool has a 3.2-inch VGA TFT display, 8MP autofocus, Bluetooth, GPS, and a microSDHC expansion slot. Expect Toshiba handset to launch with KDDI at the end of this month in your choice of pink, black, or white.
