Verizon Droid X Release Date Confirmed on June 23

You may already have it marked on your calendar with a big red circle, but here’s a friendly little reminder that Verizon will be hosting a press event Wednesday, June 23, to unveil its latest Droid device.

The carrier has already let the identity of the phone out of the bag by posting a teaser site for the Droid X, as well as a rather creepy YouTube video . From these two things, we know a few details about the device: it will have a 4.3-inch display, HDMI output, and 720p video capture.
