The new Sony Vaio J Series All-in-One touchscreen PC aims to add a fun twist to everyday computing in digital homes. It sports a 21.5-inch Full HD touchscreen to access the internet, social networks, movies and more. Multi-touch control lets you scroll, zoom and rotate your photos by flicking, pinching and tapping objects directly on the screen.
Powered by an Intel Core i3 processor, the Vaio J Series packs a high definition touchscreen so you can edit Word documents Tom Cruise-Mission Impossible-style.

The new all-in-one machine is stylish to say the least, but then I’m not sure I can remember Sony putting out a product, which wasn’t just a little bit drop dead gorgeous. The new design is dominated by a 21.5” full HD 1080p display with what they call multiple lamp technology providing ‘brilliantly detailed view of HD movies, photos and games with rich, vivid colours’.
The new Vaio J Series will consist of several models, including the J118 and J117 machines. The J118 offers a 2.6GHz Intel Core i7 620M processor and 4MB L3 cache, while the J117 offers a 2.4GHz Intel Core i5 540M processor and 3MB L3 cache. Shared features include the 21.5-inch Full HD touchscreen, 6GB DDR3 RAM, 512MB NVIDIA GeForce 310M discrete graphics, 500GB 7200RPM hard drive, Web camera and Blu-ray optical drive. Both machines also have Wi-Fi Wireless-N networking and is powered by Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. Microsoft Office 2010 Starter Edition will be bundled in the sales package.
The Sony Vaio J Series computers also incorporate the following ports: 4x USB 2.0, i.LINK, Ethernet, headphone and microphone. In addition there’s a Memory Stick Pro media slot with MagicGate functionality as well as a Secure Digital (SD) media slot. Supplied accessories include a power cord, wireless keyboard and a wireless mouse. The Vaio J Series weighs in at 21.6 pounds and measures 20.7 by 15.7 by 7.3 inches.
