The Pentax Optio X90 is a brand new super-zoom compact camera featuring a 26x image-stabilized zoom lens with a focal range of 26-676mm. Successor to the X70 model, the X90 has a 12 megapixel sensor, 2.7 inch screen, full range of creative shooting modes and can record 720p HD movies.

From what we know, the new Optio X90 does 720p HD movies, has an HDMI port to connect it to your HDTV and watch videos or images directly on the big screen. There’s also an electronic viewfinder coming along with a 2.7-inch LCD display, Aperture-Priority and Shutter-Priority, 8 ISO settings available (up to 6400), Manual shooting mode, and a 1cm macro mode.
