Pandigital Novel eReader

The Digital Readers, which has been covering the device extensively, reports that Kohl’s is currently going through something of a recall so that Pandigital can install an updated firmware.

Never fear as customers can still get a full refund. And now if you go over to the Novel product profile on Kohl’s website, you can’t even find the device listed anymore. No word on when the updated Novel will be back on the shelves.

    I bought the only one sold at the Chico CA store. This morning I was told they were not supposed to sell that and that the current stock would be replaced with the 2 Gb model at some unknown time in the future at some unknown price.

    I was *the* pioneer at that store and as Adam Osborne said. You can always tell who the pioneers are, they have the arrows in their back.
