The first UK retail listings for the Xbox 360 Slim have gone live with a price of £199 (Check out new prices and buy it from Amazon), mirroring Microsoft’s promise that the new design will cost the same as the existing hardware.

Play.com is the first UK retailer to begin taking orders on the unit, but expect others to follow suit in the coming hours.

HMV lists the Slim console as being available in more than one month, on the 16th of July for that price before saying that you won’t be able to get any discounts.
