New EEBox Nettop Box from ASUS – Nvidia Ion Powered Asus Eee Box EB1012P

Asus EeeBox EB1012P

ASUS has started selling a desktop small form factor EeeBox EB1012P to succeed in the market model EB1012.

Asus has plans to soon update its Nettop EeeBox EB1012 fresh model, which will be based on the mobile platform, Nvidia ION second generation. Visually, the forthcoming decision will not differ from its predecessor, but inside will be significant changes: the dual-core Atom D510 with a frequency of 1.6 GHz, 2 GB RAM, 40-nm GT218 GPU and hard drive 250 GB. In addition the unit will be equipped with a controller WiFi (802.11 b / g / n), the module Bluetooth, multiformat media card reader, and video output HDMI.

Asus EeeBox EB1012 home to a hard drive Serial ATA 2.5-inch 250GB capacity and is equipped with a 40W power supply. The line opening system installed is Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium.
