Logitech Revue with Google TV Now Official

Logitech Revue with Google TV

Logitech has formalized its set-top box system using the Google TV, the Logitech journal. This box to be placed on the TV camera looks like a “combination of the Web, cable and satellite apps, video calls and more.

We still know little about the Logitech journal, except it will arrive this fall, and should receive a HD webcam for video chat. It could also be controlled via a Harmony remote. Like all Google TV devices, it should use an Atom processor CE4100 (a solution capable of decoding two streams HD 1080p), and should be equipped with Wi-Fi and HDMI output.

It may be driven by an Android phone. That at least is an enlargement of an area still in its infancy in the United States, the fault of the cable operators, as in France, the fault of the Internet box, an area where we find the Apple TV, which could soon find a second breath, although the presence of an HDMI port on the new Mac mini does not leave any doubt about his intentions.
