Lets You Do Wonders With New Android OS – Google Released Source Code of their Android 2.2 Froyo

Android 2.2 Froyo

The Google Android development team have announced the release of the source code for version 2.2 of their open source Android mobile operating system, code named “Froyo”. Froyo Originally announced at this year’s Google I/O developer conference and the latest release includes a number of changes, improvements and new features.

One of the main features of Android 2.2 Froyo is the native support for Adobe’s Flash Player 10.1 and The firm also said the inclusion of the V8 JavaScript engine has resulted in a 2-3X improvement in JavaScript performance. Google said there are 60 compatible Android devices, delivered through 21 OEMs and 59 network carriers in 49 countries.
