The wait is finally over: Google’s “email killer,” Google Wave, is finally out of its invite-only phase. Now anyone can sign up for the collaborative communication product.
Google Wave is no longer in beta, so you won’t need to receive an invitation just to sign up. Basically, one of the reasons why hardly anyone uses Google Wave is because folks hardly sent invites to their friends, but with it being officially out of beta.
In all seriousness, the shed of the beta label doesn’t quite help the product’s case. We do have to say though; when Wave was introduced last year at Google I/O, numerous blogs reported about how great Google Wave could be.
