Google background image is yet another feature added by Google to its world’s biggest internet search engine Google.com. Now you can customize the background of Google with the picture of your liking. No longer you need to watch the plain and boring white background! Now you have the option to keep your favorite pictures as the Google background image. It will be set as default for 24 hours before returning to the site’s more familiar blank white homepage.
The new feature brings Google in line with Microsoft’s search engine rival Bing, which constantly changes its homepage photo on a daily basis to reflect events around the world.
The new look is a significant change for Google, which has always prided itself on its uncluttered homepage, with the search box front and centre. Users who prefer the classic homepage can switch off the personalisation feature.
