Sony today released the new VAIO P series netbook. The ultra-portable P series netbook weighs just 600g and is available in five colors. The colourful new P Series features a series of firsts for the Sony VAIO series. It’s got a built-in GPS system, digital compass and accelerometer squeezed into a tiny, pocket-friendly chassis.
The P series netbook has WLAN 802.11b/g/n and Everywair 3G connectivity up to 7.2 Mbps. Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR along with stereo speakers and microphone is also on board. Two USB ports, Motion Eye camera and a mic is also present. Alongside the new features is an 8-inch display screen, with a motion eye camera and loaded with Windows 7. It runs off an Intel Atom processor, with 2GB RAM, a 64GB flash drive. and all in all is the same tidy little package we saw in the original P Series.
The Sony VAIO P11S1E will be available in Orange, Green, Pink, Black or White. The price starts at $799.
