Samsung is launching a unique version of its Monte smartphone in conjunction with network provider O2 and comic company Marvel, bringing Iron Man 2-based content to UK customers.
Iron man 2 is one of the most awaited movies of 2010. So it comes as no surprise when Samsung announced that they will be releasing an Iron Man edition of the Monte exclusively on O2.
The phone was seen at the Mobile World Congress 2010 in Barcelona in February. It sports a 3-inch WQVGA capacitive touchscreen, a 3.2MP camera, GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth and TouchWiz UI. Apart from that, it will have nice social networking support for sites like Myspace, Facebook, Twitter and Bebo.
The Monte is available from O2 at £10 on a two year contract where the customer will get unlimited texts and 50 minutes of call value. There is also a £15 plan for an 18-month period.
