Lets You Drag and Drop Images into Gmail Now

Here’s a nice little improvement to Gmail, announced today on the official blog: To add an image into an e-mail, simply drag and drop. You can then resize it and send it immediately.

About a month ago Gmail introduced drag-and-drop attachments, making it a lot easier to send a file, document or image through email. Drag-and-drop is one of the fancy new features in the effort to revamp HTML, the Hypertext Markup Language, with HTML5.

The feature currently works only in Google Chrome, but Google promises it will soon come to other browsers.
