The ExoPC is due to ship out on Septermber 7. The 8.9-inch tablet will sport a Broadcom Crystal HD graphics chip that is capable of churning out 1080p HD videos instead of the previously reported Intel GMA950 chipset.
The Broadcom BCM70012 can manage 1980 x 1088 resolutions, opening up the possibility of a seriously large desktop display when you dock the ExoPC at home or at the office. The graphics chipset is paired with 2GB of RAM and a 32GB SSD drive, along with Intel’s Atom N270 processor, WiFi, Bluetooth and a 10/100 ethernet port.
The ExoPC is said to be priced at $599.
