BenQ Joybook R48 Multimedia Laptop Unveiled

The company BenQ announced the Joybook R48 – laptop with 14-inch display. According to the manufacturer, it is aimed at fans of internet surfing and multimedia. Interestingly, the BenQ Joybook R48 runs on the basis of OS Linux.

BenQ Joybook R48 notebook comes with an Intel Core i3 processor as well as a 14-inch screen display that offers 1,366 x 768 pixel resolution and a 16:9 aspect ratio.

To sport an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5450 Graphics Processing Unit, the device would have on the storage front a DDR3 RAM that would come with options to upgradable upto 4GB and HDD up to 500GB.

In addition, BenQ Joybook R48 comes with headphones, SRS CS Headphone, which provides surround sound quality. The laptop went on sale in China and the Asia-Pacific region since mid-May. So far no reports on its cost, as well as the release dates in other regions.
