The Acer Aspire 5551G, Acer Aspire 5553G and Acer Aspire 7551G look set to be the latest laptops from Acer, and although they’ve not been officially announced yet, the use of quad-core AMD processors set them apart from other mainstream laptops.
The Acer Aspire 5551G, Acer Aspire 5553G and Acer Aspire 7551G all feature AMD processors, with the latest AMD quad-core Phenom II X4 chips in place. These processors are so new they’ve not even been announced by AMD yet.
Along with AMD processors, other features include storage space of up to 640GB on the Acer Aspire 5551G, Acer Aspire 5553G and Acer Aspire 7551G, with dedicated ATi graphics card providing multimedia performance. The Acer Aspire 5551G and Acer Aspire 5553G both feature 15.6-inch screens, with the Acer Aspire 7551 offering a 17.3-inch panel.
Pricing and availability for the Acer Aspire 5551G, Acer Aspire 5553G and Acer Aspire 7551G has yet to be announced.
