Viliv S10 Blade Convertible Netbook Delayed Until May

Viliv S10 Blade Multitouch Convertible

Retailer Dynamism had expected to begin shipping the Viliv S10 Blade convertible tablet/netbook on April 22nd, but apparently there’s been a delay at the factory.

The reason for the delay, according to Dynamism they were “delayed by the factory.” Lets just hope these updated estimated ship dates hold true.

The device starts at $699 and will have a 10.1-inch resistive touchscreen with a 1366×768 resolution and multi-touch support. Processor choice include 1.6GHz or 2GHz Intel Atom CPUs. A 60GB hard drive is the standard offering, with 32GB or 64GB solid state drives playing host to Windows XP Home. There is otherwise 1GB of RAM, Bluetooth 2.0 and a built-in webcam. A battery life of 10 hours is expected for the 1.6GHz version, while the system is said to weigh 2.7lbs.
