Telstra have just lauched their new T-Hub Tablet Phone into Australian homes this week. The new tablet phone combines a wireless handset with a public switched telephone network (PSTN) calling service and a 7? touchscreen for navigation and surfing the Internet.

Since T-Hub is always connected to the internet, users can use it to browse the web, access social media applications such as Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and MySpace, check the daily weather and access news, sports scores, stock prices and other information via BigPond’s online portals.

The T-Hub will be available from Tuesday as part of 15 different bundle options. One option, the Home Bundle 12GB plan, costs $109 a month plus $35 upfront and includes unlimited local calls, 12GB of data and a modem/router combo.

Existing Telstra customers will be able to buy the T-Hub on its own for $299.
