Samsung and Verizon have officially announced the Reality (SCH-U820). It’s an entry-level touchscreen phone with a physical sliding QWERTY keyboard aimed at avid text messaging and social networking users.
The Samsung Reality will be launched on April 30th and will feature the TouchWiz user interface along with a QWERTY keyboard, 3.0 inch WQVGA resolution touch display, HTML browser (suggesting that the minimum $10 data plan will be required) and a 3.2 megapixel camera with flash/video recorder.
Reality will be available in two color options – Piano Black and City Red (pictured) from April 22 for $79.99 on a 2-year contract and $50 mail-in rebate.
