Samsung Slate PC – Upcoming Tablet PC

Apparently, Samsung is the latest company that will join the tablet/slate PC trend. The company is currently working on the device, and expects to release it in the second half of this year.

Connectivity is another area of focus for the Samsung slate. We can expect 3G and WiFi out of it, and WiMax or LTE is not out of the question either. This slate will very likely pack an Atom processor, and I think there’s a good chance we’ll see a dual-core Atom CPU in the final product. Samsung wants ‘PC-grade processing power’, and a dual-core CPU is the best way to go about doing that.
