Nintendo Announced Next Generation Portable Device – Nintendo 3DS

Nintendo Japan has just announced that there is a new Nintendo DS on the way. The Nintendo 3DS is an entirely new handheld which will use 3D screen technology without the use of any glasses or headgear, is set for release in the fiscal year ending March 2011. The system is set to feature backwards compatibilty with both the Nintendo DS and Nintendo DSi.

Nintendo will reveal more information about 3DS at the E3 Expo in Los Angeles this June. The handheld is set to release sometime in March 2011.
