CTIA Wireless conference is the wireless industry’s largest show in North America. Its officially opens on March 23 in Las Vegas. CTIA Wireless conference has some common themes and a few surprises. Lets take a look at different showrooms in the conference,
Research In Motion’s booth contains multiple rows of BlackBerry-shaped kiosks, each devoted to a particular game or service, such as WorldMate, the popular travel application, and Thumbplay, the ringtone/mobile music service.
Nokia’s booth organized around different parts of its Ovi Internet services portfolio, such as Ovi Maps, Ovi Mail and its mobile applications storefront, Ovi Store.
Microsoft’s exhibit focuses completely on its new mobile software, Windows Phone 7.
HTC’s booth used a wall of candid photos references the company’s playful “YOU” ad campaign while another wall features different shots of HTC’s popular “Sense” user interface.
LG is using part of its booth to promote its line of netbooks, which are far less popular in the U.S. than its cellphones.
