German company Neofonie has come up with a device which may actually stand toe-to-toe with the iPad. The WePad is a slate running on the latest Atom N450 1.66GHz processor and Intel GMA 3150 graphics with a 11.6-inch HD-ready (1,366 x 768) display. But what really had us excited was that this model uses Google Android with a reported battery life of up to 6 hours.
The WePad features an 11.6 inch, 1366 x 768 pixel display, a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 processor, GMA 3150 graphics, a 6 hour battery, Webcam, 2 USB ports, and a flash card reader. There’s also a UMTS modem.
The Android-powered device will also have access to the Android Market.
