All electronics manufactures now realize that the future of the display units will be based on OLED display technologies. So they already start to make OLED displays with their brand new products and try to increase the product market. LG and Sony already announced their OLED TVs and other handheld devices which using OLED technology. Being the part of the competition, Samsung now plans to bring OLED displays in laptops and the company officials said that they can bring these laptops to the market at the end of 2010 , probably Q3. That means a year from now we will have OLED notebooks.
Patrick Povel, European Senior Product Manager of Samsung said that, “The netbook car drives at 100km/h, some of our competitors drive at 150km/h. The target for [us is] 200km/h.”. Lets wait to see what will happen next year.
