Asus planning to launch a dual screen, touch screen Eee reader. According to the Asus president Jerry Shen, the Eee Reader will be the world’s cheapest e-book reader. It would be a dual screen and also touch screen, allowing e-books to be read roughly as they were intended to be read. The basic version of the Eee Reader would market for under 100 pounds, or about $163. And Asus also promised that a higher-end model could well be coming it might contain. 3G? A web browser? Dual touchscreens?. If Asus can produce this device successfully at the promising features and rate, it can put the Amazon Kindle and Sony’s venerated Reader line in to some pressure. Lets wait and see what will happen?.
